BFP ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES SECURES BID WITH EUROBANK
THE €72.7 BILLION BANK GROUP CONTRACTS WITH BFP FOR A EXTENSIVE RESTORATION AND PROTECTION PROJECT AT ITS BRANCH NETWORK

THE NanoSkinTM PRO AWARD-WINNING COATING SYSTEM IN THE RENOVATION AND PROTECTION OF 30,000 SQUARE-FOOT GLASS FRONTS OF EUROBANK BRANCH NETWORK

Athens, July 11, 2016 – BFP Advanced Technologies, international developer and exclusive licensor of patented, easy-to-clean permanent nano-coating systems announced today the completion of an extensive glass restoration and protection project at 15 branches of Eurobank. Following the impressive results of the 1st phase of the ambitious restoration-protection project, the bank’s management team decided to expand the application of NanoSkin at 15 branches of the Group. These were selected over other branches because their glass fonts presented the highest degree of staining.

“We are thrilled to begin our partnership with BFP Advanced Technologies with this extensive restoration and protection project for the bank’s benchmark branches”, explained Mr. Ι. Giannaklis, Deputy General Manager, Head of Eurobank’s Branch Network General Division. “My expectation is that NanoSkin coated glass surfaces will require 70% fewer cleanings, which will make the project pay for itself very soon. We see an enormous potential, not just for the technology but predominantly, for this pioneering product, namely NanoSkin. The Executive Board of Directors has already discussed the possibility of extending cooperation with the Executive Officers of BFP. I believe that, from now on there will be plenty of new opportunities and application fields to adopt the novelty and I really look forward to working with the experts of BFP again many times in the near future”.

BFP has won several distinctions and awards being the leading glass company for years. It can provide on-site field services and has restored and protect some of the world’s most famous architectural structures, saving owners and property managers hundreds of thousands of dollars in cleaning and glass replacement costs.

Operations completed in 22 days-the overall area of coated glass was about 30,000 ft2 (more than 2,700 m2). Once more, the results were truly impressive!

What is more, cleaning of treated surfaces has become much easier. “This technology definitely speeds up our work and enhances the result of cleaning. I was a bit skeptical in the beginning. I even thought that NanoSkin could “spoil” our clients, but now I understand that it can promote our work a lot”, says I. Lamprinos, Director of iShine Cleaning Company.

The Chief Operating Officer of BFP Advanced Technologies, Dr. Nikolaos Papadopoulos stated: “This is one of several high-end architectural projects BFP has worked on over the past few years. By treating the glass facades of the bank branches with the famous NanoSkin coating system, we substantially reduce cleaning maintenance costs”. Once more, I must point out, that NanoSkin isn’t just another water repellent or waterproof coating, but rather the only one restoration and protection coating system worldwide. Our restoration process is unique in its kind offering huge savings from glass replacement. Surfaces are completely renovated and at the same time, glass is protected from future damage, such as discoloring, staining and corrosion. Besides unparallel endurance, our coatings offer superior non-stick properties, like no other coating does. NanoSkin was the first permanent nano-coating system and it is still the leader among easy to clean protective coatings. Hence, we are pleased to see the word is spreading among the leading companies and organizations about the added value and the benefits NanoSkin offers.”

Award-winning BFP’s systems restore glass surfaces to like-new condition and treat them with an ultra thin invisible coating which is less prone to the adhesion and build-up of foreign materials. The NanoSkin coating offers protection against limescale, dirt, dust and various contaminants and enables ease of cleaning, less often, therefore significantly reducing maintenance costs. The nanocoating is optically clear and does not affect the transmittivity and transparency of the glass. The overall aesthetics is also enhanced.

Based on the pioneering HyDRoPTM system, NanoSkin is the most durable system worldwide. Unlike coatings which are based on obsolete technology or treatments that require revitalizing to maintain performance and functionality, NanoSkin is a state of the art permanent coating. It is TÜV tested and certified.

The Eurobank Group will soon approve the application of NanoSkin to all of its branches, throughout a giant glass restoration-protection project. The overall coating area will be of the order of 800,000 ft2 (more than 70,000 m2)!
