BFP ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES COMPLETES AN EXTENSIVE GLASS RESTORATION AND PROTECTION PROJECT FOR THE HEAD OFFICE BUILDING OF EUROLIFE ERB

THE NanoSkin AWARD-WINNING COATING SYSTEM IN THE RENOVATION AND PROTECTION OF 11,000 SQUARE-FOOT EXTERIOR GLASS AT THE HEAD OFFICES OF FAIRFAX’S INSURANCE GROUP BUILDING.

Athens, September 24, 2015 – BFP Advanced Technologies, international developer and exclusive licensor of patented, easy-to-clean permanent nano-coating systems announced today the completion of a glass restoration and protection project at the modern building of Eurolife ERB.

Owned by Fairfax, Eurolife ERB Insurance was founded in 2000. Being pioneer in the bank-insurance sector the company has spread its activities in various countries with more than 380,000 clients. Despite the world economic crisis, Eurolife has been highly profitable for the last 10 years; its annual revenues exceed 500 million USD. In early 2015 the Group moved to modern privately owned premises at a symbolic location, in the city center, straight across from the Academy of Athens.

The building has two glass facades consisting of more than 600 large glass panels. The upright configuration of glass panes presupposed that cleaning could be undertaken only by professionals working at heights. However, this was a costly option, especially when frequent cleaning was necessary (e.g. after rain mud). Within the framework of refurbishment operations, NanoSkin PRO was applied on all glass panes, including the glass main entrance. The process completed in 5 days and the coating area exceeded 11,000 ft2 (more than 1000 m2).

BFP has won several distinctions and awards being the leading glass company for years. It can provide on-site field services and has restored and protect some of the world’s most famous architectural structures, saving owners and property managers hundreds of thousands of dollars in cleaning and glass replacement costs.

The leading NanoSkin coating protects exterior glass from long-term damage and since application it has reduced window cleaning costs significantly. At the same time, the overall aesthetic beauty of the property has been largely improved.

“Our new premises signal a new era for the Eurolife Group, which will be defined by strong growth. We plan to launch novel products and to enter new markets. I think there is no better coincidence than our partnership with BFP Advanced Technologies”, stated Mr. A. Sarrigeorgiou, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer at Eurolife ERB. “Besides economic benefits, the pioneering properties of NanoSkin match perfectly to our philosophy. Our head offices will be the first benchmark of this shift to innovative effectiveness.”

Award-winning BFP’s systems restore surfaces and treat them with an ultra thin invisible coating which is less prone to the adhesion and build-up of foreign materials. The NanoSkin AG nano-coating offers protection against various contaminants, such as graffiti and enables ease of cleaning, therefore significantly reducing maintenance costs. The nanocoating is optically clear and does not affect the substrate’s appearance. The overall aesthetics is also enhanced.

Based on the pioneering HyDRoPTM system, NanoSkin is the most durable system worldwide. Unlike coatings which are based on obsolete technology or treatments that require revitalizing to maintain performance and functionality, NanoSkin is a state of the art permanent coating. It is TÜV tested and certified.
